Video Shows Rat Going Wrong Way Down Escalator At Penn Station
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A new viral star of the rodent variety is in the making.
A video clip shows a rat trying to walk the wrong way down an escalator at Penn Station.
The video was shot by Sam Mazur, who told Gothamist he spotted the rat just before 9 a.m. near the Seventh Avenue Penn Station entrance and exit.
Mazur told Gothamist the rat "caused a bit of commotion" as people dodged the determined rodent.
The video cuts off just after 12 seconds, so it is not clear how long the rat tried to go down the "up" escalator.
