Police: Pedestrian Killed In Hit-And-Run In Bay Shore
BAY SHORE, NY (CBSNewYork) -- Police in Suffolk County say a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run early Sunday morning in Bay Shore.
Police say 52-year-old Nelson Mendoza was crossing Fifth Avenue near Candlewood Road when he was hit and killed by vehicle around 1:45 a.m.
Police say the vehicle took off from the scene. They say they're looking for a dark-colored Toyota with front-end damage a broken windshield
