Pearl River Residents Discover Swastikas, Racial Slurs Scrawled On Cars And Driveways
PEARL RIVER, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Messages of hate have been found in a quiet Rockland County neighborhood.
Residents on North Lincoln Avenue in Pearl River woke up on Sunday morning to find swastikas, racial epithets, and profanity spray painted on three cars and on driveways.
Tires were also slashed.

"We got very upset, you know it's a terrible feeling. We didn't understand why and we felt, we knew we didn't have any enemies so to speak, and nothing ever happens here. It's a very quiet neighborhood," Barbara Bernasconi said.
It's unclear if the families were targeted or if it was a random crime.
Police said that there are no surveillance cameras in the area and no leads in the case.
