Patriots Beat Ravens 23-20 In AFC Championship

FOXBORO (CBS) - After a hard-fought battle with the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship, the New England Patriots are heading to their fifth Super Bowl since 2001.
The Patriots beat the Ravens 23-20 to advance to Super Bowl XLVI. They play will the winner of the 46ers-Giants NFC Championship.
Baltimore kicker Billy Cundiff missed a potential game-tying 32-yard field goal with 11 seconds remaining to clinch the win for New England.
The Patriots survived two Tom Brady interceptions by getting a pair of rushing touchdowns; one by BenJarvis Green-Ellis in the second quarter and another by Brady in the fourth quarter.
Brady took his touchdown in on a fourth-and-goal play, giving the Patriots a 23-20 lead with 11:29 to play in the game.
The Patriots quarterback finished the game 22 for 36 with 239 yards and no touchdown passes.
The Ravens had a chance to tie or take the lead on their last possession, but corner Sterling Moore knocked a go-ahead touchdown out of Torrey Smith's hands in the end zone with 22 seconds remaining. He knocked a pass away on the very next play as well.
on fourth down, Cundiff's kick went wide left.
For Brady, it is his 16th postseason win, tying him with Joe Montana for the most all-time. Brady is now 16-5 in the playoffs.
