Service Restored After Signal Problems Cause PATH Suspensions, Delays
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- PATH service is back to normal after signal problems caused major delays and suspensions during the morning rush on Friday.
The Port Authority said service had resumed system wide after 10 a.m.
The signal problems initially caused suspensions on every line except the Hoboken to 33rd Street line. Service began resuming with residual delays, with NJ TRANSIT cross honoring PATH passengers.
Many commuters Friday morning took to Twitter to voice their frustrations at the PATH system.
