Passengers At Newark Airport Not Worried About 9/11 Travel Warning
NEWARK (AP / WCBS 880) - The U.S. has issued a worldwide travel alert ahead of the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, which cautions Americans about the continued threat posed by al-Qaida and other groups.

That doesn't seem stop be stopping travelers at New York-area airports.
At Newark Liberty International Airport on Friday, Nardasha Gooda from Philadelphia said that he doesn't have a problem flying on September 11.
In fact, he has a flight booked on that day to Frankfurt.
"We have much better security now then we ever had. So that should be fine," he told WCBS 880 reporter Monica Miller.
Dana Itala said that she just got back from Spain, and a stopover in Amsterdam proved that security is tight.
"I think they had the body scan, and they asked us about a million questions. So, that was probably the most security I've seen on this trip so far."
The State Department isn't citing any specific threats to the United States that have been identified from al-Qaida or its allies.
But the department says U.S. citizens living or traveling abroad should take precautions because terrorist groups can attack anywhere.
Friday's alert notes that previous attacks were planned for significant dates, presumably to gain maximum public attention.
The U.S. says Americans abroad should register on the State Department's website or at an embassy or consulate. This makes it easier for embassies to reach people in case of emergency.
