Party City Announces More Store Closures

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Party City says it plans to close even more stores.

In May, the New Jersey based company announced 45 closures.

Now, it's added 10 more stores to the list, bringing the projected total to 55.

The CEO says the company has been challenged by higher freight costs, markdowns related to ongoing store closures and the cost of helium.
