NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The Queens-bound tube of the Queens-Midtown Tunnel remains closed Sunday for repairs related to superstorm Sandy.

One tube of the tunnel was shut down at 2 a.m. on Saturday and will reopen on Monday at 5 a.m. The same closure will take effect again next weekend so repairs can be made.
The MTA warns delays should be expected during the disruption.
During Sandy, the tunnel took on millions of gallons of sea water.
