Parents Head To Court Over School Bus Cuts
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- The battle over school bus service cuts in the Big Apple was headed to court Monday.
Budget cuts forced the Department of Education to eliminate bus service this year for about 5,000 public school students, mostly on Staten Island and in parts of Queens and Brooklyn.
Parents have already held protests against the cuts, and they were to argue the loss of service was putting their children's lives in danger.
