Paladino Greets Supporters At Howard Beach Parade
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- With Election Day just over five weeks away, the most closely watched local race remains the one for governor.
On Sunday, Republican nominee Carl Paladino was in New York city, greeting supporters in Queens.
The event was the Howard Beach Columbus Day Parade.
Paladino shook hands and passed out lollipops as he walked down Cross Bay Boulevard.
For much of the event, Paladino was trailed by a small group of protestors. They said they had been sent by the state Democratic party.
