NYPD: Swastikas Painted On Garbage Cans, Building In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A string of painted swastikas have been reportedly spotted in Brooklyn, and police are searching for a suspect.
According to the NYPD, five swastikas were found painted in white near Avenue S between Ryder Street and 38th Street in the Marine Park section of Brooklyn. The swastikas were painted on garbage can covers, residential gates and on the front door of a residential building on East 35th Street, police said.
The suspect is described as a man between 5'6" and 5'9." According to police, he was last seen wearing dark clothing and a dark-colored back pack.
