Pace University To Sell Its Briarcliff Campus
BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. (WCBS 880) – Pace University officials announced this week plans to sell its 35-acre campus in Briarcliff Manor and move the dorms, offices and classrooms there to its main campus in Pleasantville.

The sale isn't expected for another few years, but Pace's Bill McGrath said it's an opportunity to improve the university, save money and expand the Pleasantville campus.
"The goal is to significantly improve student life," McGrath said. "It'll save us the money. It'll also be an improvement to the environment including traffic and noise and air pollution so many, many positives."
The university has not yet to announce a price for the Briarcliff campus, but McGrath believes whatever the price, everyone will benefit.
"For a better sense of a community and a great opportunity for us to improve our academic environment and learning process for students," McGrath said.
