One World Trade Center Reaches 100 Floors
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The void left in the New York City skyline on 9/11 is filling in - a visual wound healed.

One World Trade Center has hit the 100 floor mark and is four feet from becoming the tallest building in the city and surpassing the Empire State Building, which stands 1,250-feet-tall.
And it's not just the height that is filling a hole, says Greg David, director of the business reporting program at CUNY's school of journalism.
"This building is proving to be attractive for the office tenants it was designed for. Conde Nast is taking 1 million square feet and other companies are showing interest as well, and obviously that's a good sign," he told WCBS 880 reporter Marla Diamond.

The tower mysteriously grew from 93 stories last week to 100. The Port Authority says that's because six floors were skipped to make up for the building's massive base.
It was recently announced that the building was expected miss its April topping off date for iron work, but that is still expected to happen sometime this spring.
