One Shot To Death, Another Wounded At Club Sensations In Newark
NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) - Prosecutors said that one man was shot to death and a security guard was wounded when gunfire erupted at a social club in northern New Jersey.
It was not immediately clear what caused the shootings at Club Sensations in Newark.
Police responded to the club just before 3 a.m. on Saturday and found the two victims. 35-year-old Andrew Henry of Irvington was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later, while the security guard -- whose name was not released -- was hospitalized in stable condition late Saturday morning.
The Major Crimes Task Force from the Essex County Prosecutor's Office is leading the investigation. But further details -- including what types of weapons were used -- were not immediately disclosed.
