Police: One Person Killed In Paterson House Fire
PATERSON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – At least one person is dead after a fire engulfed a home in Paterson, New Jersey Tuesday.
The blaze broke out shortly before 7 p.m. on East 26th Street.
Authorities told CBS2 that downed power lines around the home helped fuel the flames.
Neighbors reportedly ran in to rescue people before firefighters arrived.
It's unclear how the fire initially started. The total number of residents injured in the blaze has not yet been released.
