One Person Injured In Upper East Side High-Rise Fire

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - One person suffered a minor injury Friday in an apartment fire on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

The fire broke out at around noon.

Firefighters were spotted on the seventh floor of an approximately 24-story building located at 94th Street and First Avenue.

Firefighters knocked out windows in order to help combat the fire, which was quickly brought under control.
