There are several events planned in the Big Apple to mark the celebration, including a VIP, invite-only dining event at New York's British Embassy and a fundraiser held by St. George's Society of New York to feature dinner and dancing at Times Square's Edison Ballroom.
But if you're a Royal Wedding enthusiast, your best bet might be the Royal Wedding NYC '11 Celebration Party, a function hosted by Big Apple Brits, a networking group for Brits living in New York City.
But this event means business. Tickets to the party, to be held at Brooklyn's DUMBO Loft, will set you back about $50 and include an open bar starting at 5 a.m. Watch the live wedding broadcast on a big screen at the archway under the Manhattan bridge, where it will be replayed again in the afternoon.
