On WFAN: 'Twitter King' Logan Morrison No-Holds-Barred On Marlins, Citi Field
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Logan Morrison is fast becoming a social media star. He's cocky and brash -- and the Marlins want their 23-year-old outfielder to tone it down on Twitter.
Morrison, known by some fans as the "Twitter King," is OK with the extra attention. Especially with the Marlins in a funk.
"We're terrible," he told Sid Rosenberg on Wednesday. "Hey, I'm pretty sure most people now know that I'm a Twitter person and have no idea that I play baseball. I'm convinced."

Rosenberg had to know: would Morrison rather be known as a Twitter guy or baseball star? His reply is sure to rankle Florida brass, but that's something "LoMo" has some experience with after his R-rated tweets caused a stir last month.
"Baseball, but, you know, I'll take it where I can get it," said Morrison. "I do play for the Marlins, so it's gonna be hard to be known for baseball."
Morrison might be a player better fit for a town like -- say, New York. He's young, outspoken and owns billboard-worthy looks. But don't expect him to consider the Mets -- free agency for Morrison is way down the line -- so long as Citi Field remains a pitchers' haven.
"Well, you know, bring the fences in a couple hundred feet and then I will."
