On WFAN: Terry Bradshaw No Fan Of NFL Games In London
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Understatement alert: Terry Bradshaw doesn't like NFL games in London.
"It's all about money, buddy," Bradshaw said during his weekly spot with WFAN radio co-hosts Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts. "It's all about money."
The Hall-of-Fame quarterback and national television analyst said the league is disrespecting teams by scheduling them across the pond.
"I think it's the most disrespectful thing you can do to these teams, to make them travel over to London to promote our NFL product," Bradshaw said. "You're not ever going to have a team (relocate) over there. If you're going to do anything, go to Canada every year -- could be somebody (moves) up there eventually.
"But I don't get it."

Two winless teams -- the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings -- will square off at Wembley Stadium on Sunday. Around 84,000 tickets have been sold, according to The Associated Press.
"Nobody cares anything about that game," Bradshaw said. "The players don't want to go. You can't enjoy it. Now preseason, OK, have some fun. It's regular season, so yeah, I don't get it -- never will."
The second London matchup will take place on Oct. 27 between the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars and the San Francisco 49ers. The NFL launched its International Series in 2005, bringing the game to London for the first time two years later.
When it was mentioned that the NFL is trying to promote American football on the world stage, Bradshaw wondered -- then why London?
"Well, why don't you go where there's more people?" he said. "Let's go to China. Let's go to Tokyo. Let's go someplace else, man. Let's go to Australia. ... If we're going to promote it worldwide, we need to get as many folks as we can. China's got billions of people."
