www.upandupnyc.comAh St. Patrick's Day, the day when even the Rosenblums of the world become self-proclaimed Irishmen. Here to help all of you "lucky ones" celebrate this glorious holiday is New York's newest drinking den, Up & UP.
Expert bar owner, Matt Piacentini (formerly of The Beagle) recently opened the doors to his stellar Greenwhich Village hideaway and is ready to make all of your wet dreams (that is, your dreams about alcohol) come true.
More: E.S.P. Eat. See. Play. New York
Along with head bartender Chaim Dauermann (formerly of Gin Palace and Desnuda Williamsburg) Piacentini is offering up a wide variety of beverages from creative cocktails to brewskies. If it's a cocktail you crave, you better start studying. Because there are five cocktail categories to choose from: The Bottled Cocktails, Up & Up Originals, Up & UP Favorites or the Halfies.
Having a bad day and need something a bit larger? We suggest going with a bottled cocktail like The Teague Old Flaskoned Single Serving Flask Bottle with Old Overholt Rye, Demerara Syrup, Angostura Bitters, and Regan's Orange Bitters. But if you're looking to have an instant ecstasy educed moment, it's the craft cocktail shot or "Halfies", like the Quinine Jimmy with TomR's Tonic, Angostura, and Lime Peel, that you're looking for.

Need a break from your drink? Snag a snack like the pickled vegetables, the Duck Confite or the Chicken Liver Mousse. Dishes like these are sure to have you feeling that luck you Irish people are always bragging about.
So if you're looking to get your drink on this St. Patty's Day (is there really anything else to do on SPD?) head to Up & Up and see just how lucky you really are.
