On the FAN: Yankees' Joe Girardi & Mets' Jerry Manuel
Yankees manager Joe Girardi joined Joe & Evan to talk about his trip home to Chicago, the Bombers' position atop the AL East, and Javier Vazquez moving back into the starting rotation.
"I'd like to say it's going to be a permanent thing," Girardi said about Vazquez. "You have to earn everything that you're given."
Dustin Moseley will move to the bullpen to make room for Vazquez.

Afterward, Mets manager Jerry Manuel called in to discuss his team's recent slide.
"I'm pretty frustrated, but I still hold out hope that we're gonna get on a run somehow," Manuel said.
When asked about the Mets trading away outfielder Jeff Francoeur, Manuel stated, "I think that was a move that obviously good for Jeff given the situation that we're in."
Manuel went on to praise rookie Lucas Duda, who was called up from AAA-Buffalo after the Francoeur trade was completed.
