On Six Month Anniversary, Family Of Missing College Student Lauren Spierer Pleading For Information
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (CBSNewYork) –It's been six months since an Indiana University college student from Westchester disappeared.
Lauren Spierer was last seen on June 3 after a night out with friends in Bloomington, Indiana.
Her family says they're not giving up hope.
The 20-year-old's mother has pleaded for anyone who knows anything about her daughter's disappearance to come forward.
"I beg you again for the numerous times to give us the information that we need to lead us to Lauren," said Charlene Spierer. "What can we do to convince you to give us our daughter back?"
Bloomington police say they're still getting tips from the public on this case.
A support tree is being placed at a mall in Bloomington where supporters can leave notes or cards to the Spierer family. A vigil and a walk are also planned.
Spierer is 4'11", 95 pounds, has blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants and a white top.
