Off-Duty TBTA Officer Shot During Botched Robbery In Bed-Stuy
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An off-duty Triboro Bridge and Tunnel Authority officer was shot Saturday night during a botched robbery at a Brooklyn store.
Authorities said that the TBTA officer was shot in the shoulder while trying to break up the robbery at a car stereo and alarm store on the corner of Atlantic and Albany Avenues in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Police said they believe two suspects were shot. One suspect reportedly succumbed to his injuries, while another was believe to be undergoing treatment at Interfaith Medical Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
