NYT Expects Print Ad Revenue To Slip In 4Q
NEW YORK (AP) -- The New York Times says it expects print advertising revenue to decline about 4 percent in the fourth quarter from a year ago, while digital ad revenue should show "healthy gains."
The New York Times Co. said Tuesday the expected decline in print advertising would still be an improvement from the third quarter, when print ad sales slid 6 percent.
The Times says digital ad revenue is expected to grow about 10 percent in the fourth quarter. It expects circulation revenue, which accounts for subscription fees and newsstand sales, to decline 4 percent to 5 percent.
