NYPD Seeks Man For Questioning In Chelsea Death
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is asking for assistance in locating a man wanted for questioning in connection with the death of John Robert Laubach inside of his Manhattan apartment.
Laubach, 57, was discovered dead in his bed just before 8 p.m. Friday inside his fourth floor apartment on West 22nd Street. Investigators said he was naked, gagged with a towel around his head and with hands bound with duct tape.
A friend had gone to the man's apartment to check on him, and found him unconscious. He was pronounced him dead at the scene.
One suspect is currently being questioned, while the man pictured above has not yet been located. Both men were seen on surveillance video entering the building with the victim, police said.
