NYPD Seeks Bandit Who Hit Two Manhattan Banks Over The Weekend
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The New York City Police Department wants your help to catch a brazen bandit.
Police say the same man is behind an attempted bank robbery, and managed to get away with another one. Both incidents took place over the weekend in broad daylight.
On Friday June 17, police say the suspect entered the Chase Bank at 2 Park Avenue and passed a note to the teller. However, the suspect took off without any cash. Despite the attempted robbery happening at 2:15 p.m., the suspect managed to get away.
Police say the same man robbed another bank. This time, the suspect walked into the TD Bank at 47 Third Avenue and demanded cash. The teller gave him some, and he took off.
