NYPD Searching For Gas Station Robbery Suspect
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is searching for a robbery suspect targeting gas stations in Washington Heights and Inwood.
Police say he robbed a gas station on 207th Street on Sunday, May, 22. More than a week later, he allegedly held up another gas station on Amsterdam Avenue.
In each incident, the suspect reportedly shows a weapon, demands money and leaves on foot or in a car.
Detectives say he was seen driving away in a late-model silver Chevy Impala.
