NYPD Releases Video Of Man Suspected Of Two Sexual Assaults On The Lower East Side
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - One man is suspected in two sexual assaults in Manhattan and the NYPD wants your help finding him.
The first incident happened on Monday, January 18, 2010 at approximately 7:30 a.m. The victim, a 19-year-old woman, was followed onto an elevator of an apartment building on the Lower East Side. Once on the elevator, the suspect, armed with a knife, allegedly forced the victim out of the elevator and into the stairwell where he sexually assaulted her. The suspect then fled down the stairs in unknown direction. The victim was taken to a local hospital where she was treated and released.
The second incident happened on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at approximately 10:00 p.m. The victim, a 17-year-old woman was followed onto an elevator of an apartment building in the on the Lower East Side. Once on the elevator, the suspect, again armed with a knife, allegedly forced the victim out of the elevator and into a stairwell where he attempted to sexually assault her. The victim fought off the suspect who then fled the scene.
There were no reported injuries.

The suspect is a Hispanic male with dark complexion, 17-25-years-old, approximately 5'8" to 5'10", and heavy set.
In the first incident the suspect was wearing a black Northface jacket, blue jeans, and black boots.
In the second Incident, the suspect was wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans.
