NYPD Officer Shot, Wounded In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBS 2/AP) -- Police say a plainclothes officer pursuing a suspect into a Brooklyn building was shot and wounded in the leg. The suspect also was shot and wounded in the leg.
The officer was taken to Kings County Hospital, and the suspect was taken to Brookdale Hospital, to be treated for their injuries. Both were listed in stable condition on Sunday night.
Neither one of the men was identified.
Police say they are investigating the shooting, which happened about 8 p.m.
They say officers were pursuing the suspect into a building on Bradford Street when shots rang out between the third floor and the roof. No other injuries were reported.
