NYPD: Off-Duty Officer Fatally Shoots 17-Year-Old Suspect In Bushwick
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is investigating a fatal police-involved shooting in Bushwick.
An off-duty officer was apparently attacked by two men in an attempted robbery as he walked along Grove Street near Broadway shortly before midnight Sunday.

Police said one of the suspects simulated a gun and the other struck the officer in the face with a cane.
Police said the officer then identified himself, pulled out his gun and fired one shot, striking 17-year-old Antwain White in the chest.
White was pronounced dead at Woodhull Hospital.
The second suspect has been taken into custody.
1010 WINS' Terry Sheridan reports the officer was also taken Woodhull Hospital to be treated for facial injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
The shooting comes less than a week after an off-duty police officer fatally shot suspect carjacker Christopher Kissane in the Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn.
