NYPD: No Terror Reason For JetBlue Passenger Removal
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- Security concerns caused a flight delay at JFK Airport.
A passenger was removed from a Tampa-bound JetBlue flight because of security reasons Saturday. A spokeswoman for the airline did not give a reason for the passenger's removal.
The NYPD, however, said it was not terrorism related.
The flight was originally scheduled to depart at 6:59 p.m. It eventually departed at 9:40 p.m. after all passengers had been re-screened.
