Police Search For Gunman After Drive-By Shooting On Major Deegan Expressway
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- There was more gun violence in New York City with a drive-by shooting on the Major Deegan Expressway early Friday morning in the Bronx.
Police said a gunman in a black sedan opened fire on another car at Cedar Avenue in University Heights.
A bullet hit a 44-year-old passenger in the back.
The driver of the car the victim was in drove him to the hospital. The victim was in critical condition.
The car, with multiple bullet holes, remained outside the hospital as police investigated.
