NYPD: Man Caught On Camera In East Harlem Firing Shots Into The Air

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police say they're looking for a man who was caught on camera firing shots into the air.

It happened between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on July 23 around 160 E 103rd in East Harlem.

In the surveillance video, the man can be seen walking down the street carrying a gun when he suddenly opens fire, shooting several rounds into the air.

The man, who police describe as Hispanic between 17 and 25-years-old with long braids in his hair, takes off down the street after the shooting.

Police say no one was injured but two of the shots did hit some windows.

The suspect was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jean shorts, light blue fitted baseball cap and was armed with a gun.
