NYPD Hunts For Laundromat Robbery, Stabbing Suspect
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/CBS 2) -- The NYPD is requesting the public's help in identifying a suspect who allegedly robbed an Upper East Side laundromat last week.
The early morning robbery occurred last Friday, when a male wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt, jeans and black sneakers, entered the Giant Family Laundromat at 5 a.m.
The suspect allegedly displayed a knife before robbing the facility and stabbing the attendant several times in the back and hands. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
