NYPD: Gang Beat And Robbed Man In Late Night, Upper East Side, Mugging
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is asking the public for help in identifying five suspects who are wanted in connection with a robbery on the Upper East Side.
A man was walking near the corner of East 88th Street and 2nd Ave early Tuesday morning, when he was attacked by a group of four black males and one black female.
The suspects punched the man in the face and kicked him as he lay on the ground, they took his wallet and iPhone before running away. All four males have been described as being between 20 and 25 years old, they were all wearing dark jackets at the time. The female suspect was wearing a blue jacket with white stripes.
