NYPD Cop Injured In Motorcycle Accident On Belt Parkway
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- An NYPD officer was hospitalized Thursday afternoon after a motorcycle accident on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn.
The accident happened at about 8:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the parkway at Knapp Street in Sheepshead Bay. The officer was on-duty when his department motorcycle collided with a car.
The officer was taken to Brooklyn's Lutheran Medical Center with a broken arm, but was conscious and alert after the accident. He is in stable condition at this time.
