NYPD: Bicyclist Thief Snatching Smartphones In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- At least he's keeping it green.
Cops in Brooklyn were hunting for a thief who bikes up to people talking on their iPhones, BlackBerries, or other types of smartphones and grabs the phones from their hands, before pedaling away at high speed.
It's happened at least half a dozen times in and around Park Slope.
Police advise people to keep the chatting, texting, emailing, or Internet surfing to a minimum and to be aware of their surroundings.
