NYPD: 4 Detectives Suspected Of Drinking On The Job
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- The NYPD has placed four detectives from the 33rd Precinct on desk duty while officials investigate whether they were drinking on the job at a Manhattan restaurant.
The New York Times reports that the incident took place Feb. 16 at the Parrilla Steakhouse at Broadway and 164th Street in Washington Heights.

The officers allegedly went to the steakhouse and drank while on duty. One of them may have sexually assaulted a waitress or paid her for sex in a back room.
The restaurant's manager told Gary Baumgarten he had no comment.
A lawyer for the detectives tells the newspaper that he didn't believe the waitress had accused the detectives of "inappropriate sexual conduct,'' but confirmed that their conduct was being reviewed.
A lawyer for the restaurant says its owners didn't assault the woman.
