NYPD: 2 Men Steal Collection Box From Lower East Side Church
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have released photos of two men they say stole a collection box from a church on the Lower East Side.
The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. last Thursday.
The two suspects walked into Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Stanton Street, grabbed the wooden collection box and fled, police said.
It is unclear how much money was in the box.
No injuries were reported.
