NYPD: 2 Men Robbed Livery Cab Driver At Gunpoint In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding two suspects wanted in connection with the robbery of a livery cab driver in Brooklyn.
Police said around 12:40 a.m. Saturday, two men got into the cab at Avenue X and McDonald Avenue and asked to be driven to East 88 Street and Seaview Avenue.
Police said once they arrived at their destination the suspects robbed the driver at gunpoint before fleeing on foot.
The driver was not injured.
The suspects are believed to be between 20- and 30-years-old.
Police said one of the men is about 5-feet-8-inches tall and approximately 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt.
The other suspect is believed to be about 6-feet-tall weighing about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt and ski hat.
