We will never forget the tragic events that took place on September 11, 2001. Today the 9/11 Memorial and Memorial Museum stands as a way to honor the victims and brave heroes who lost their lives that day. The museum houses an extensive collection of multimedia displays, archives, narratives, and authentic artifacts from the Twin Towers in a 110,000 square foot space located at 180 Greenwich Street. The museum is also home to a wall of remembrance, with the names of each and every person who passed away that day etched into stone. Admission is free on Tuesdays from 5:00 p.m. until closing time. The timeless Disney musical, Aladdin, is performing at the New Amsterdam Theatre this Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. This show tells the story of an impoverished street rat named Aladdin, who discovers a magic lamp and the wish-granting genie that lives inside. With Genie by his side, Aladdin goes on a magical journey that culminates in an epic battle with the evil wizard, Jafar, to save the royal city of Agrabah. Adam Jacobs stars as Aladdin and James Monroe Iglehart plays the role of Genie. Tickets are available online starting at $56.

Up-and-coming music duo, Timeflies, is playing the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey this Friday night at 7:00 p.m. Timeflies is made of music producer Rob Resnick and vocalist Cal Shapiro. The group has achieved a cult following on YouTube with their signature, Timeflies Tuesday, where they post a new music video to their channel every Tuesday. Recently they've begun to attract mainstream attention with their single, "After Hours," off their newly released album of the same name, reaching number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. This Saturday visit the Guggenheim Museum between 5:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. and you get to decide your own admission price! Saturday nights are "Pay What You Wish," where your admission fee is treated as a donation to the museum and you can literally name your own price, but you do have to pay something. Once inside museum goers will be treated to the Guggenheim's current collection of art from the Thannhauser Collection featuring masterpieces from artists like Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso and Pierre Auguste Renoir.
