Seven types of pork, seven varieties of peppers and seven herbs and spices are the key to Lucky 777's popular chili in the West Village. If pork isn't what you crave, choose from beef, turkey and bean chilis that are just as delicious and hearty. Toppings are unlimited here, so don't be shy with cheeses, veggies and sour cream.
Here at CBSNewYork, we know a thing or two about hot dogs. While Bark does them right, it's their Angus Beef Chili you'll want to dive into. Try it in a bowl or smothered on a Chili Cheese Dog at this hot dog purveyor in Park Slope. This down home food joint is loved among locals, offering a variety of burgers and fries as well, for a neighborhood fast food favorite. We also visited Bark on the High Line last year.
Served with radish, cilantro, lime, Mexican crema and a bag of Fritos, Tripe Chili at The Brooklyn Star offers a non-traditional flavor combination. While this bowl features tripe, there's also bacon and ground beef seasoned by chili powder, pinto beans, black beans, onions and tomatoes. This chili is made low and slow until the tripe is so soft it falls apart. Dig into the bag of Fritos for a complimentary crunch and don't forget to top it off with their jalepeño vinegar for a unique bowl of chili.
In 2006, Manhattan Chili Co opened the world's first "All Natural Chili Bar" at Grand Central Terminal in the Lower Level Dining Concourse. From beef and lamb to vegan options, Manhattan Chili Co offers a chili for every diet. Grab a chili container to go on your next commute through Grand Central for a homemade tasting dinner at home.
