Halloween in New York becomes a spooktacular party across the entire city. You won't need to search long for Halloween celebrations, from the annual Halloween Parade, to haunted houses, themed concerts and costume parties. The Big Quiz Thing's Spooktastical Halloween Trivia

Date: October 29 at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets: $15

(Le) Poisson Rouge hosts dance parties, concerts and cabaret performances almost every night of the week. So of course the Greenwich Village venue offers multiple Halloween bashes. Exercise your Halloween brain with the Spooktastical Halloween Trivia on October 29. The multimedia trivia night will include six rounds of quizzing, hosted by Noah Tarnow and DJ EdP. A live magic performance from the Great Dubini will also take place, as will a pre-show cocktail hour.

My So-Called Prom: 90s Halloween Party

The Bell House hosts wacky events throughout the year that range from the guacamole tasting Guactacular to Trivia with Pat Kiernan. So it's fitting that the Brooklyn venue is hosting My So-Called Prom: A 90s Halloween Party. Get decked up in your favorite 90s or grunge outfits for a night of 90s covers from 90s Party Band The Bayside Tigers.

Sleep No More + An Afterparty

The immersive Off-Broadway take on Shakespeare's Macbeth has been around for a few years now. But the haunting show is especially perfect for Halloween. Don your provided mask, and go along for the ride. You'll wander the dark hallways of the McKittrick Hotel in Chelsea, stumbling into various scenes adapted from Macbeth. Show up for the October 30 or October 31 show dressed in costume, and take part in a horror-movie themed premiere party for Curse Of The Mummy after the show.

Webster Hall Halloween Party

Tickets: $50 at time of publication

Once a year, the famed East Village music venue Webster Hall turns into "Webster Hell." The site hosts the official NYC Halloween Parade afterparty; swing by after watching the parade march up the Avenue of the Americas. All four floors of "Webster Hell" are transformed, haunted house style, with DJs spinning dance tunes. Come decked out in costume for a chance to win the $5,000 cash prize for best costume.
