CBS2 7/2 Saturday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Matt DeLucia
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good afternoon, everyone! Yesterday's severe weather is outta here and the cold front has rolled on through. What's that mean for us? Beautiful skies and much lower humidity!

Temps will top out in the low 80s today with plenty of sunshine. If you're headed to the beach, remember the sunscreen! The UV index will be around 9 today, which is a burn time of about 20 minutes.

The great weather continues tomorrow, with temps a few clicks warmer and a few more clouds. As of now, Monday continues to look okay for the city. We're watching a system to our south that may try and throw a shower or two for points to the south. We'll monitor any changes, but still looks like partly cloudy skies and dry for most... temps again in the mid 80s.

A shower chance will be around for Tuesday, and then it gets hot and humid once again as we head toward the end of next week. But for now, just enjoy this spectacular holiday weekend!
