7/13 CBS2 Wednesday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre

CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

It sure is feelin' more like summer out there, and we'll get a serious dose of it over the next few days! Expect any storms that popped up to wind down through the evening, but it will remain cloudy, muggy and quite warm overnight -- temperatures only drop off to the low and mid 70s!

Tomorrow's going to be even warmer with temperatures in the upper 80s and a few low 90s. Unfortunately, the dew points will be in the low and mid 70s, so it'll feel very humid - feeling close to 100 degrees in spots! There will also be a few thunderstorms in the evening as a cold front approaches.

Friday appears to be the hottest day of the week, but thankfully not as muggy. Temps should soar into the lower 90s inland, with 80s at the coasts. As of now the weekend looks dry and hot with temps near 90 both days.

Stay tuned for the latest and keep cool and hydrated, folks!
