NY JetBlue Passenger Removed For Security Reasons
NEW YORK (AP) -- A passenger at New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport has been removed from a Florida-bound JetBlue flight due to a security concern.
JetBlue spokeswoman Jenny Dervin says the passenger was taken off JetBlue Flight 21. The plane originally was scheduled to depart JFK at 6:59 p.m. Saturday for Tampa.
Dervin did not give a reason for the passenger's removal. She says the aircraft eventually departed at 9:40 p.m. Saturday after it had been re-screened. It is estimated to arrive in Tampa at 12:21 a.m. Sunday.
No other details were immediately available.
