No Death Penalty In Narcy Novak Hotel Heir Killing Case
WHITE PLAINS, NY (AP/WCBS 880) - Prosecutors have decided not to seek the death penalty in the case of a Florida woman accused of arranging the killings of her husband and mother-in-law.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Elliott Jacobson said in a New York court Wednesday that he still plans to charge Narcy Novack, of Fort Lauderdale, with murder in aid of racketeering.
That charge can carry the death penalty, but Jacobson said the government will seek life in prison instead.
Novack and her brother, 57-year-old Cristobal Veliz of Brooklyn, have pleaded not guilty. They're charged with hiring the killers of Bernice Novack in her Florida home and Ben Novack in his Rye Brook hotel room.
Ben Novack's father built the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach.
