NJT: Service Restored On Montclair/Boonton Line
MONTCLAIR, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Service has been restored on NJ TRANSIT's Montclair/Boonton line after being suspended in both directions Monday during the morning rush.
NJ TRANSIT suspended service around 7:30 a.m. due to a trespasser fatality near Upper Montclair. By around 9 a.m., service was restored and trains were operating on or close to scheduled.
Cross honoring was in effect with NJ TRANSIT buses and private carriers while trains were suspended.
