NJ Turnpike Shooting Leaves 2 Injured
MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) -- State police say two men were wounded in what appears to be a drive-by shooting on the New Jersey Turnpike.
It happened around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in the southbound lanes near Interchange 6 in Burlington County. That's where the turnpike meets the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
State Police Sgt. Francis Babinchock says the wounds are not life-threatening.
Babinchock says troopers were trying to question a third man who was in the vehicle and they're searching for a second vehicle.
Traffic is moving in the area.
