NJ Transit Service Back On Schedule After Power Problem
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Train service along the Northeast Corridor from New York to Washington has been restored after being disrupted earlier Saturday morning by an Amtrak low voltage problem.
It's not yet clear what caused the issue, which was discovered around 9:30 a.m.
Some train service was suspended along the corridor, while other trains were delayed. It wasn't immediately clear how many riders were affected by the disruption.
Amtrak said Saturday afternoon that while its service had resumed, customers should expect residual delays.
